Kiera Morgan-  Instructor
 

Kiera Morgan is originally from Florida and will be continuing dancing professionally for her second season here in South Carolina with Carolina Ballet Theater. From a young age Kiera had interest in choreographing and teaching, and that’s just what she did! Choreographing her first solo in 5th grade to compete in a scholarship competition Kiera has now choreographed solos, duets, small groups and large groups for a number of competitions, showcases and performances. She graduated from her performing arts high school one year early while simultaneously dancing at the Sarasota Ballet School and in 2017 she moved away from home to Charlotte, NC where she entered Charlotte Ballet’s pre-professional division. During her second year in Charlotte she was asked to rehearse and perform with Charlotte Ballet’s second company with a culminating performance with the main company.

Starting the 2019-2020 dance season Kiera began a professional contract with Richmond Ballet. While in Virginia she started teaching full time ages 3 - adult. Upon moving to South Carolina she continued to teach and choreograph. Her favorite style to teach is ballet but her dance background is competition track based and because of that she is well versed in a number of different dance styles. Kiera is excited to be joining the Let’s Dance staff this year!
