Tyriq Green -  Instructor

  Born in New York, Tyriq first love was dancing. His mother was a back up hip hop dancer and performed with rap artist from the 80s. When one of his uncles introduced him to Michael Jackson is when his love for performing was born. He started mimicking the street dancers he would see as well as the moves of artist like Michael Jackson and Usher. After moving to South Carolina as a teenager he would join a dance team. There is where he would learn how to count music and steps and what goes into getting on stage and putting on a show. Tyriq has since competed at national competitions and won team dance awards. His goal is to pass on his love of dancing to students and show them how it is possible to make dreams come true.
