Let's Dance has many dance competition teams!

 

All students ages 3 and older are invited to audition for these teams. An outside panel of judges are there to choose the members of these companies.

 

Let's Dance competition teams consist of:

- Jazz

- Tap

- Contemporary

- Ballet

- Lyrical

- Musical Theatre

- Hip Hop

We also have students compete as soloist, in duos and trios.  These companies have competed on the local as well as the national levels.

 

Our talented groups have won numerous awards including best choreography, high score, and judges' favorite to name a few.

Company auditions:
 

Let’s Dance has 25+ dance companies that attend dance conventions and competitions on the regional as well as the national level.   Auditions for the dance company will be held in June at the Mauldin studio.  There is a $15.00 fee to audition for each.   This is an excellent learning experience for students, whether or not they are accepted.   Any student accepted into the dance company will be required to sign a contract pertaining to our rules and expectations.  The company meeting is in June.

Classes begin in June for the next season.  A typical competition schedule consists of 4 competitions starting in February until June and we attend Nationals each year around July.
