Let's Dance History

Humble Beginnings

Let's Dance first opened it's doors more than 30 years ago in September of 1978. Let's Dance was then located on Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville, SC. It wasn't long before we grew out of out first - one classroom - studio.

Moving and Growing

Let's Dance moved to the Mauldin / Simpsonville area in 1986. We operated our studio just off Butler road for several years until once again we outgrew our space.

Our Mauldin Studio

In April of 2005 we moved to our current location at 211 East Butler Road C-4, Mauldin SC (864-297-0895). Once again we outgrew our space and decided to expand.

Our Fountain Inn Studio

In 2012, we added a another studio in Fountain Inn at 103 South Main Street, Fountain In, SC (864-268-8588).  This fabulous space is bright, spacious, and clean. The perfect backdrop for a safe, positive, fun learning experience.

 

Each of our studio classrooms has one way glass observation windows to allow the parent's to enjoy their child's learning process and progress, without distracting the children during their class.

 

Our talented instructors are well trained with many years of teaching and performance experience. Our teachers excel at instructing students of all ages in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop and Clogging.

 

Over the years Let's Dance has produced many talented professional dance performers, teachers, and choreographers. Our current and former student's have won many local and state pageant's including Miss USC, Miss Simpsonville Teen, Miss Simpsonville, and Miss South Carolina. Others have gone on to dance and teach locally and nationally.
